Which printer I need to print standard Modul-o-box?
You need printer wich can produce part in dimensons on base plate big as 170 x 170 mm and 130 mm tall. So even Prusa MINI handle print out box big as your room!

Which filament should I chose to print strong Modul-o-box?
We always recomending PLA or PETG from any brand. Those two materials are ecological and strong enought. PLA is biodegradable and we (people) know how to recycle PETG, so those two are best trade off materials towards price, simplicity of printing and solidity in term of strength.
Why you say Modul-o-box is ecological solution?
When you print our box from PLA filament you can be sure that when your box ended in garbage some day, it will not be there more than several months. PLA is from corn and its biodegradable, so it will disapeare like core of the apple soon. Some parts you probably want to have more strong than PLA is. Clips for example. We recomending PETG. PETG is material we already can proccess (recycle) in most cultures/socialities around the world. So combinatioon of those two materials seems to be best pick.
Beside fact that you can print tought Modul-o-box case from biodegradable PLA filament, there are more things wich are helping conserve environment. You can print box you exactly need and by energy saving technology - 3D printing eats much less power than industrialized inject molding machines. And when industry made boxes got damage, only you can do is to glue them ugly or throw away and buy new one. With Modul-o-box system you just print damaged part again and replace it. Your box will look great again and waste is minimal. 3D printing is one of the most energy and environment saving technologies around. Thats true folks.
How long Modul-o-box will be in print?
Depending on dimensions you demanding of course. But you know how it is. Waiting is boring, but good things need a time.
Do I need some other hardware to assembly standard Modul-o-box?
Yes. You need M3 hex screws and bolts. And of course something what can screw those bolts and screws together. Basic screw is M3x10. For lid is better to use M3x8. Don't forget to get L-key = hex screwdriver tool.
Can I buy Modul-o-box already printed and assembled?
Not yet. We can print parts for you but assembling is still left for your hands. If you want us print Modul-o-box for you, write us, we will reach the deal together sure.
Is Modul-o-box open source project?
No. Modul-o-box design is protected by industrial design protection in Europe, US and in some other countrys. So you can print it only for your private use, hoewer you can print how many Modul-o-boxes you like.
